Our experience has taught us that there is more to using a computer system than just having hardware and software. The user could use a little training, tech support and advice every now and then. All of which we are prepared to deliver in the amounts necessary to ensure that the maximum benefits of the system are realized.
Most jewelers don't realize the full impact a computer system could have on their business. They see it as a device for controlling inventory, building customer databases, producing sales report, etc. They may not realize it's potential for making them tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars more and so they don't aim for that goal.
Through training and a thorough understanding of the systems capabilities, the jeweler is able to take advantage of all the features and benefits in this powerful tool.
Training Options:
Introductory Course
This course is designed to get you off on the right foot. It's offered free for one person from each store with the purchase of the EDGE software.
You'll get hands-on training from excellent, knowledgeable and very patient instructors insuring that you get off to a quick and easy start. All the essentials are covered in this 2 day program.
Advanced Course
After you are comfortable operating the EDGE on a day to day basis, it's time to learn how to take advantage of every profit enhancing feature. After all this should be why you computerized in the first place. You will learn how to create a lean, dynamic, profit producing inventory and how to keep it that way. You will learn how to measure the effectiveness of your advertising, to find who your top customers are and to reward your best performers with profit based commissions. All the management reports are discussed in during this 2 day session.
On-Site Training
A great way to train the entire staff and a lot less expensive then sending them all to Connecticut. We'll come to you with a curriculum tailored to meet your individual needs. The sales staff will get the training they need, the office staff whatever they need, the repair department will learn what they have to and the store's management will get the time they need for issues concerning them.
